Ben was one of the first staff members supported by EdPowerment at KIWOCE (Kilimahewa) Open School. Holding a BA in Social Development from St. Augustine University of Tanzania (SAUT) in 2014, Ben served as a social worker, teacher and Rotary Interact Club Supervisor at KIWOCE from 2016 – 2019. In March 2019, Ben assumed a position he continues today as a Ward Executive Officer (WEO) and Social Worker at SIHA District Council.

Since 2021 Ben has assisted the growth of Educational Empowerment Organization as a Life Skills and Boys Program Consultant. He guides the Boys and Girls Club at Dahani Secondary School, and has been a key player in the development of the EdPowerment Business Incubation Center, Sanya Ju. Ben is uniquely qualified and dedicated to inspiring young people to build better lives.
